I have been running openvpn for few years without issues. On 3rd Jan, all the clients started failing with the RESOLVE error. Taking one client, the log is as follows:

I found that the ca.crt expired on 3rd Jan so I updated the ca.crt and the server crt & key and client crt & key, but no use. I still get the same error as above.

I am lost now. On client computer, DNS works as expected, I can ping the domain name vpn.yyyyyy.com, I can connect to openvpn using public ip address pointed by this domain name.But when I use the domain name in openvpn.conf file, I get RESOLVE: Cannot resolve host address error.
