But its the fastest way to take your new branded email for a spin inside the Gmail inbox.
Open another email account, Gmail, Outlook, AOL, it doesnt matter. Compose a new email and enter your new email address in the To field.
Write a random subject like First email and send it.
Now, head over to Gmail and log in with your Google Workspace credentials.

Verify Domain And Set Up Email:
If the MX records have already been saved, tick the box in the G Suite setup saying I saved MX records.
To exit the setup wizard, click on the Verify domain and set up email button.
Your G Suite email account functions just like every other Gmail account. By visiting the Gmail website, you can access it, and sign in with your email address.
You could also use the Admin console to manage your G Suite account. It is where new users can be added/removed to your domain name. Each user will have a storage of 30 GB and with all the same features, but no access to the admin console will be given to them. Those users may be removed at any time you wish.
Configure Forwarding Between Your Domain Email And Gmail
Now we get to the good stuff: forwarding emails sent to your business domain on to your Gmail . This step is divided into two parts for inbound and outbound emails.

The default option is adding a TXT record to the DNS records of your business site. Adding the TXT record to your DNS wont affect your website or domain in any way.

Google Workspace TXT record
Once youve selected the TXT option, Google will generate a code that starts with google-site-verify. Click the Copy button to copy the code to your clipboard.
Now you need to access the DNS tool of your hosting provider in a new tab or window. Dont close the Google Workspace tab.
Existing Kinsta customers should use the Kinsta DNS tool.
Select TXT from the Type dropdown menu.
Copy and paste the verification code into, and press the Add DNS Record button.

Once youre done, return to the tab with the Google Workspace signup page in it.
Verifying your domain
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Verify my domain button to complete the verification.
Note: It may take a few minutes for the DNS records to go live, so it will take some time before Google can complete the authentification.
Select A Basic Or Business Account
Unless you know that you need unlimited storage, I recommend starting out with the Basic G Suite account. Delete Old Mx Record:
You need to go back to your DNS zone editor to do this, and scroll to the bottom to the MX records section. Youll see the previously created MX records together with an older MX record that still points to your website.
To delete it, click the Delete button next to the old MX record. Turn back to the setup screen of the G Suite and check the box saying I deleted existing MX records.
You will be then prompted to save your MX records. When you add MX records, they are already saved for some providers, but you may have to save MX records manually for others.

The final step is to activate Gmail for your Google Workspace accounts.

On the page, youll see the following MX records:
- aspmx.l.google.com / priority = 1
- alt3.aspmx.l.google.com / priority = 10
- alt4.aspmx.l.google.com / priority = 10
Youll need to open a new tab and go to your hosts DNS tool, or re-open the DNS tool tab from earlier.
