How Can A Godaddy Domain Name Be Transferred To A Wix Premium Account
After youve transferred your domain name from GoDaddy to your Wix premium account, Wix will become your domain name registrar. Domain transfers are not available for all domain name types. However, the main domain names types such as .com, .net and .org are possible to transfer to Wix.

How To Updates Your Nameservers At Godaddy
1. Visit the GoDaddy Homepage and login.2. Next, visit the Domain Manager and you should see a list of all domains.3. Find the domain you will be using for your Wix website and check the box next to it, then click the DNS button. In the DNS drop down, select Update Nameservers.4. Check the Ill use my own nameservers box and enter your nameservers from above in these boxes, then click Save.
Once youve obtained and updated your nameservers, it can take up to 24 hours for those changes to propagate globally. That means you might not be able to access your website during this time period. Nevertheless, nameserver propagation usually only takes a few hours, so test regularly once youve updated and your Wix website should start loading soon.
Connect Your Domain Name Registered On Godaddycom:
1. Go to the GoDaddy website and click on the Sign In button on the right top.
2. Enter your username/email/customer number and password to Sign In to your account.
3. Go to the top right section and click on the My Products tab.
4. In the My Products section, you would see all your purchased domains. Now find your domain that you want to connect to the Pixpa website and click on the DNS button next to it.
For example, I want to connect ankushtripathi.in with my Pixpa website here.
5. You will see DNS Management . In DNS Management, go to the www CNAME record and Delete it .
6. Now, click on the Add button to add a new CNAME record.
You need to choose CNAME as the Type, www as Name, domains.pixpa.com as Value, and 1/2 hour or any time as TTL. Finally, hit the Add record button.
7. Now, scroll down the page, go to Forwarding Settings and click on the AddForwarding text link of the Domain.
8. Add your domain name here with the www prefix.
Example: If your domain name is amrishmudgal.in then type www.amrishmudgal.in in the field shown below.
Select the Permanent option as the Forward Type. Then, click on the Save button .
NOTE: Usually it takes about 1-2 hours for .com and .net domains and about 24-48 hours for all other domain extensions before name servers on other networks are able to access the information after the central registry gets it.
This period is referred to as the propagation period.

Things To Know About Manual Connections
Here are a few things you need to know before manually connecting your domain to your Square Online site:
- DNS changes can take 24-48 hours to propagate, so it may take time for your site to start working.
- Square doesnt use TTL values. Whatever your host defaults to should work .
- If you want to use a custom subdomain with Square Online , you can create an additional A record for the subdomain and point it to the provided IP address following the same steps above.

Generally if you have used cPanel based shared hosting so far, you will find this process completely different. But trust me, the process is very simple indeed. Make A Go Live Request From The Pixpa Studio
Once you have completed the above steps, you can then submit a Go Live request now.
Go to the Pixpa studio settings section. In the Settings section, go to the Connect Domain Name menu page on the left sidebar menu and enter your domain name with http://www prefix as http://www.amrishmudgal.in in Connect your Domain Name section as shown in the image below.
Here amrishmudgal.in a domain name is an example in this help article. Request you to replace it with your domain name.
Do not use any forward-slash after the domain name during Go-LIve request. It would be just the http://www prefix to your domain name.

1. What you need to do first is to access the Shopify Admin. Login to your Shopify account at http://www.shopify.com.
2. Click the Online Store sales channel on the left side to view the other sections then, click Domains.
3. Since we are connecting an existing GoDaddy domain, we need to click the Connect Existing Domain button.
4. It will then ask you to enter the domain name that you have previously acquired. Click Next after you have entered the domain name.
5. Shopify will automatically detect the internet domain registrar that you have used. Since we will do this Automatically, click the Connect Automatically button.
6. You will be asked to sign in to your GoDaddy account. Just sign in using the login details on where you purchased the domain name.
7. Then, GoDaddy informs you that they will be disconnecting the domain from their DNS records and change it to Shopifyâs DNS records. Just click the blue Connect button to proceed with the changes.
8. It will then give you a Success confirmation informing you that the website is already a Shopify domain. Just click the Close button to go back to Shopify.
Shopify is going to verify the connection of your GoDaddy domain. You will then receive a green callout saying that your domain is now connected with Shopify.
9. What you need to do next is to make sure that your customer will visit your domain and not the Shopify branded domain. Click the Change Primary Domain link and select your domain name, then click Save.
