    Requirements To Set Up A Company Email

    Before starting with the implementation of a company email, we must have prepared a series of data that will usually be provided by our hosting, domain or mail provider. The minimum information we will need will be:

    • E-mail: although it may seem obvious, we must have previously created the company email account in order to obviously be able to configure it. In some cases, we may fall into the error of trying to add a corporate email to our email program without having it previously created.
    • Username: in most cases, the username associated with our account will be the same company email address .
    • Password: the credentials or access password associated with the email.

    You can add aliases to your gmail account so if you have a variety of domain names, you can integrate them all into your gmail. If you receive an email from someone using your new alias, when you hit reply, your gmail account will automatically send from the same domain name as long as you have set up the incoming and outgoing server details correctly.

    Youll also be able to select which account you send from if youre creating a new email to send out from your domain or you can set it as your default so that it always comes up as the chosen domain email address.

    Getting Pop3 And Smtp Details

    Before we can set up a Gmail account to work with a custom domain, first you need to create a domain-based email. In case you havent made one, refer to our tutorial to know how to do so.

    After creating the email, you need to collect its POP3 and SMTP details. To locate the email protocols in Hostingers hPanel, do the following:

  • Head over to Email Accounts under the Emails section.
  • Select Set Up Devices.

    Remove Your Old Pop3/imap Account

    With all your data transferred and Outlook.com automatically collecting your new emails, you can remove your old POP3 or IMAP account from Outlook and set the Outlook.com mailbox as the main mailbox if it isnt already.

  • File-> Account Settings-> Account Settings-> select your Outlook.com account-> button: Set as Default
  • If you are using a Send Only POP3 account, then it is recommended to set/leave this as the default.

  • Optionally Switch to the Data Files tab and remove the pst-file from your POP3 account .
  • Set your Outlook.com mailbox as the default data file and optionally remove your pst-file.

    Zoho Is The Best Free Hosted Email Service

    Zoho offers many similar features to G Suite, but, crucially, it offers a basic free plan that will get you hosted email at your own domain alongside a productivity suite. You miss out on Gmails world-class spam protection, only get a modest 5GB of storage, and generally only get basic controls, but if you dont want to pay for email this is definitely the best choice.
