The CSR is like the blueprint for an SSL. It contains basic information for the SSL you are requesting such as the domain submitted with the order. Uploading your CSR is one of the first steps in the process of creating your SSL.

  • Login to your account at
  • Click on the Websites, Email & Security tab

  • Click on the Configure CSR button

    Below are the steps to configure SSL certificate of Cloudflare.

    In free plan, they allowed 3 pages only. If you want to more pages you have to buy the premium plan.

    Manage App Service Certificates

  • On the App Service Certificates page, select the certificate.

  • On the left menu, select Export Certificate.

  • Select Open in Key Vault.

  • Select the certificate’s current version.

  • To export the App Service Certificate as a PFX file, run the following commands in Azure Cloud Shell. Or, you can locally run Cloud Shell locally if you installed Azure CLI. Replace the placeholders with the names that you used when you bought the App Service certificate.

    The downloaded PFX file is a raw PKCS12 file that contains both the public and private certificates and has an import password that’s an empty string. You can locally install the file by leaving the password field empty. You can’t upload the file as-is into App Service because the file isn’t password protected.

    Opting Out Of The Free Ssl

    To opt out of the Free SSL certificate:

  • Log in to your Customer Portal.
  • Select Hosting from the left-hand side menu.
  • Locate the hosting package where you want to manage your Free SSL. Click its Manage link.
  • Under the Overview tab, look for SSL Management and click Manage.
  • Locate your domain, then toggle Auto-renew to disable Let’s Encrypt SSL, your Free SSL certificate.

    Use the following steps if you got your CSR by using IIS, which pairs the publickey from your vendor with the private key generated by IIS.

  • In the IIS Manager, select the server and double-click Server Certificates.
  • Under Actions, click Complete Certificate Request.
  • In the wizard, select the location of the certificate file provided by yourSSL vendor.
  • For Windows Server® 2012 only, name the file and choose your storagelocation.
  • Import an SSL certificate from another server

  • In the IIS Manager, double-click Server Certificates.

  • Select the location of your certificate file, enter the password , and choose your certificate storage location .
  • In the IIS Manager, right-click your site and select Edit Bindings.
  • In the Site Bindings window, click Add.

    We will now use GoDaddy to forward mail to your Outlook inbox. We recommend configuring forwarding through GoDaddy and not through Outlook.

    Step 1: Go to your GoDaddy Email & Office Dashboard. You may access this Dashboard by logging in to GoDaddy and by clicking on the drop-down next to your username and selecting Products. Scroll down to Email & Office and click on Manage next to the email address you set up.

    The Email & Office Dashboard will appear. Click on Forwarding to set up the forwarding address.

    Step 2: Select the User account associated with the inbox. Then, paste the forwarding email address you received from Acquire.

    Ensure that Keep a copy of forwarded mail is checked so that emails are not lost in transit. Then, press Save.

    Activating The Ssl Certificate On Your Website

  • Click on SSL/TLS under Security in cPanel.
  • Under Install and Manage SSL for your site , click on Manage SSL sites.
  • Under Install an SSL Website, click on Browse Certificates.
  • Select the SSL certificate to activate. When ready, click Use Certificate.
  • The encrypted certificate will appear in the Certificate text box.
  • If you have generated the private key in cPanel, it will be auto-added to the Private Key text box. If you are activating an pre-existing SSL certificate, you will need to paste the certificates private key here. Make sure you include the beginning and ending lines.
  • Paste the CA Bundle into the Certificate Authority Bundle text field. Make sure you include the beginning and ending lines.
  • When ready, click Install Certificate.

    You will see a confirmation that the SSL certificate has been installed successfully. Your website should now be accessible via https://yourdomain.com.

  • Click Install certificate.

  • Generating of the certificate might take up to 1 hour. During that time, you will see a grey, locked padlock icon next to your domain, informing about the SSL pending status.

    Install Certificate On A Custom Microsoft Azure Domain

    By default, Azure secures the .azurewebsites.net wildcard domain with asingle SSL certificate, so you can already access your application by using thehttps://< appname> .azurewebsites.net URL.

    Get an SSL certificate

    If you do not already have SSL certificate, you need to get one from a trustedCA. The certificate must meet all of the following requirements:

    • Created for key exchange and exported to a .pfx file.

    • Uses a minimum of 2048-bit encryption.

    • Has a subject name that matches the custom domain it needs to secure. Tosecure multiple domains with one certificate, you need to use a wildcard name or specify the subjectAltName values.

    • Merged with all intermediate certificates used by your CA. Otherwise, youmight experience irreproducible interoperability problems on some clients.

  • SSL is now enabled for your custom domain.

  • Fill out the form and email it to your Customer Experience Manager. Based on the information youve provided, theyll generate and send you the CSR needed for the SSL certificate.

  • Send the SSL certificate to your Customer Experience Manager, so it can be assigned to your GetResponse domain.

    How To Renew Your Ssl/tls Certificate

    if you decide to manually configure your SSL/TLS certificate, it will likely have an expiry date.

    Did you just install or renew your SSL/TLS certificate? Set a reminder in your work calendar one month before it expires, so you can be sure there is no downtime.

    This means that you will have to renew your certificate when it’s going to expire. Let’s say your SSL certificate is due to expire on the 1st of January 2022. You will have to contact your SSL/TLS vendor again and inform them that you want to purchase a new certificate.

    If you use the same SSL/TLS vendor, it’s possible that they still have your CSR details. If this is the case, it’s not necessary to create a CSR again .

    To renew your certificate, click on edit and delete the previous code. Place the new information in the relevant fields and click save.
