Once you’ve connected a domain, you can edit which content types are hosted on that domain.
- In your HubSpot account, click the settingssettings icon in the main navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Website> Domains & URLs.
- Next to the domain you want to edit, click the Edit dropdown menu and select Connect domain with more content types.
- In the dialog box, select the checkbox next to eachcontent type you want to host on this domain, then click Save. If a content type already has a primary domain selected, you will need to edit its primary domain instead.

If you dont know what name servers to use, ask your website host and they will tell you. They often give you this information in a welcome email or you may be able to search their website for this information.
If there are already entries there and name servers specified, youll still change your name servers. You may get a warning about this. If youre not sure about what youre doing, take a screen shot of the settings you see there before you make changes just in case you have to revert back to these settings later.
Things To Know About Manual Connections
Here are a few things you need to know before manually connecting your domain to your Square Online site:
- DNS changes can take 24-48 hours to propagate, so it may take time for your site to start working.
- Square doesnt use TTL values. Whatever your host defaults to should work .
- If you want to use a custom subdomain with Square Online , you can create an additional A record for the subdomain and point it to the provided IP address following the same steps above.

These registries in its large and centralized databases contains information about which domain names have been claimed and by who. These registries dont sell the names directly. They delegate that job to DNS registrars like GoDaddy or Namecheap.
DNS Registrars must be accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers . When these registrars sell a domain to its customer, they are expected to register it with the appropriate registry by updating a record with your information.

My wordpress site is www.jonathanmaimon.wordpress.com. I couldnt find my IP address listed anwyhere on my Dashboard. Im sure its somewhere, I just couldnt find it.
The WordPress help site was not useful. They told me to contact their customer support team to get this information.
I did it a little differently, based on my hour-long conversation with their customer support team. Im going to detail below what I learned from that conversation and what worked for me.
Log in to your registar. Find something that says Advanced DNS.
Domains List -> Manage -> Advanced DNS
Select the option to Add New Record
Youll choose a record type from a dropdown menu. Select A record.
Then click Save All Changes.
Create two A records, one with host @ and one with host www, in order to map your site properly.
Important: Remove ALL other records, the ones already there, otherwise your new mapping might not work properly.
It might take a couple minutes for these changes to go live.

The first thing you’ll need to do is to find out the list of name servers used by your web host.
“Name servers”, or “DNS servers”, loosely speaking, are the things that translateyour domain name to the actual location of your website. A little example will make this clear. Let’s say you type adomain like “thesitewizard.com” into your web browser. In order to display the website associated with thesitewizard.com,the browser needs to know the real address of the site. Appearances to the contrary, the underlying machinery of theInternet does not actually use names for addresses, but series of numbers, like 127.0.0.1, called IP addresses. Name servers translatethe domain name you and I use to the actual numeric IP address used by the computers on the Internet.
When you sign up with a commercial web host, they will configure their name servers so that they furnish yourwebsite’s real IP address when there is a query for your domain name. As such, in order for your domain to befound on the Internet, you must link your domain to your web host’s name servers.

Connect Your Domain Name To Your Hosting Account
The next step is to connect your WordPress.com domain name to your A2 Hosting account. Log into your WordPress.com account, and locate your domain name information by visiting My Site > Domains:
Next, you can set up an email forward. Choose the Email tab, scroll down to the bottom, and choose Email Forwarding:
Then, select the option to Add New Email Forward. In the dialogue box that appears, enter the custom email address youd like to use, and choose the A2 Hosting email you just set up as the forwards to address:
This will direct WordPress.com to forward messages from your email domain to your A2 Hosting account. After that, you can add as many accounts as you need by simply repeating this process.
