Remove Privacy Protection From The Domain

The domain transfer will automatically fail if the privacy protection is enabled on the domain name when the transfer request is initiated. All WHOIS information must be publicly visible for the transfer to go through successfully.

Privacy protection can be removed by clicking Remove privacy at the bottom of the Contact Information section, then confirming that privacy should be removed from the domain.

Transferring A Domain Purchased Elsewhere To Wix

To transfer your domain to Wix: · Select an extension period of at least one year. Tip: If you have a free domain voucher, its automatically applied. · Click Continue.

How To Move A Domain From Godaddy To Aws Route 53

Since Godaddy went down for some hours my client and I are very upset and want to change everything to AWS.

Everything is done so far, only the domains are missing, I’m having a hard time trying to migrate from godaddy to Route 53, Do I have to remove from one and create from scratch from AWS?

Does anyone have any experience on how to do this?

the solution:

Login on your aws console Click on Route 53 Create Hosted Zone Select your new created host title and click “Go to Record Sets”, take note of the nameservers

Login on your Godaddy account Select your domain Go to Nameservers and click SetNameservers paste all the four you took from “Go to Record Sets” Route 53

and that’s it…, you don’t have to rely on this horrible service Godaddy provides anymore

You can transfer the domain registration to AWS Route 53.You have to “unlock” the account.

Log On to Go Daddy.

Go to Domain Details Then Settings:

• Lock: Set to Off

Route 53 will need the authorization code to complete the transfer request.

Point A Domain Out Of Godaddy

1. First, go to GoDaddy website and click Sign In

2. Second, input your GoDaddy Username and Password, then clicks the Sign In button. You can also sign in using your Facebook account or Google Account too.

By Step Guide To Transfer Godaddy Domain To Google

There are two mandatory steps required to transfer a domain from any domain registrar to new one, and they are:

• Unlock the domain
• Get the EPP code

In this guide, I will show you all the steps you need to do at Godaddy domain manager to unlock and get your domain EPP code to transfer the domain. On the receiving side, I have Google domains, but you can use the same steps for any other domain registrar like NameCheap.

To start with, login to your GoDaddy panel and launch the domain manager at the dashboard:

On the domain manager panel of GoDaddy, you need to click on the domain name which you wish to transfer to Google domains or any other domain registrar.

Now you will be on the domain management page of your selected domain. Here you need to unlock the domain so that your domain can be transferred from one registrar to another. I have already talked about this in details in my earlier guide on how to make your domain secure. Follow the screenshot and simply set the lock status to off:

After unlocking your domain, you need to get your domain authorization code to transfer the domain from one registrar to another. On the same page at the end you will see a column call Authorization code, you need to click on Email code to get EPP in your eMail.

Check your Email inbox for your unique domain authorization code, and now its time to go to Google domains to transfer the domain name.

Update The Nameservers To Point To Fastcomet

The transfer needs time to process. As your previous provider should release the domain to FastComet, it is a good idea to point your domain to the FastComet nameservers or via A record to the IP address, provided to you in your Welcome email, so that be able to start working on your website.

Changing your name servers while your domain is being transferred may cause the transfer to fail. Be sure that you have updated your name servers before the transfer begins so that your domain will be working as soon as possible.

Note: When you make changes to your DNS, please allow up to 24 hours for propagation after making the change. Thus, we recommend performing no changes on your website during that time as once the propagation is over, they may not be saved on the new server.
