What If The Domain Is Set As The Default

How to Verify Your Domain in Facebook Business Manager – Easy Facebook Domain Verification Steps

It is good practice to have a default verified sender domain. Our system will use the default verified sender domain if a non-verified domain is used for the email for the account. This is particularly important if sub-accounts are using the main account sender domain or resellers want notification emails to send using their domain.

How Does The Domain Verification Process Work

You will receive an email from with the subject line:

WHOIS Data Confirmation for YOURDOMAINHERE

The email will show you the current details on record for the domain name and will show the following details:

Domain Name:Domain Status:Domain Status:

It will also show the name, address, phone, email address and fax of the Registrant, Admin contact, Billing contact and Technical contact of the domain name.

If the information is correct and up to date then no further action is required.

If you do need to update the details then you are provided with a link where you can login and manage your contact details.

Add Or Edit Custom Dns Records

  • Sign in to the Microsoft admin center at .

  • Go to the Settings> Domains page.

  • On the Domains page, select a domain.

  • Under DNS settings, select Custom Records then select New custom record.

  • Select the type of DNS record you want to add and type the information for the new record.

    Spf Record Is Not Approved

There are three reasons why an SPF record may not be approved:

    • SPF records dont match

    • SPF Name record field must be left empty

    • More than one SPF record was found

    SPF records don’t match

    • Check the Host Name.

    • Check if the Value field on your DNS page is exactly the same as the one on your MailerLite Domains page. They have to be identical as they are case-sensitive. The record wont be approved otherwise.

You can use this site to compare both texts.

SPF Name record field must be left empty

Some hosting providers have settings that dont allow the domain as the Name field for any record.

Use @ as the Name field for the TXT record or leave it empty.

If you see that there is a common Name field being used for the rest of the records in the DNS page of your domain, try using that one.

More than one SPF record was found

Its only possible to have one SPF record on your DNS zone. If you have more than one, they need to be merged.

In the image below, you will see two different TXT records for SPF. Both of these need to be merged into one single record.

Fortunately, MailerLite does this for you after you click once on the green Check DNS records button. This allows the site to check and update the SPF records Value with the merged version after clicking on it. The updated SPF value will be available on the same pop-up page.

At first, you will notice that the SPF value record will look something like this:

    v=spf1 a mx include:_spf.mlsend.com ?all

How Do I Verify A Domain

How to verify my domain in google search console

Domain Verification will allow you to send from any email address on a particular domain. For example, once you have verified mydomain.com, you can send emails using the Postmark platform with any email address. This feature is especially useful if you send from a large amount of email addresses in a single domain or send email on behalf of your customers.

Adding the DKIM record to the domain’s DNS will not affect any other DNS records already in place, nor affect sending from the domain using a method other than Postmark.

Once you have verified DKIM for the domain, you are all set to begin sending from any email address on the domain. Optionally, you can also add a custom Return-Path to help ensure effective delivery. Adding a Return-Path is not required for verifying the domain, however.

Why Authenticating Your Domain Is Important

Although optional, we highly suggest that you authenticate your own custom domain to improve your deliverability rates.

It also significantly increases the chances of your email landing in the recipients inboxes rather than the spam or junk folder.

To authenticate it, you will need to add two TXT records to the DNS page of your domain:

    • DKIM : a sender identification tool that is used by email clients to identify and protect from phishing, spoofing and forgery.

    • SPF : indicates which IP addresses and/or hostnames have been authorized to send emails from the specific domain.

Note: The DKIM and SPF records given to you on the Domains page cannot be changed within MailerLite and the exact records must be added to your DNS page for the authentication to work.

Add Subdomains Of A Custom Domain

If you want to add a subdomain name such as âeurope.contoso.comâ to your organization, you should first add and verify the root domain, such as contoso.com. The subdomain is automatically verified by Azure AD. To see that the subdomain you added is verified, refresh the domain list in the browser.

If you have already added a contoso.com domain to one Azure AD organization, you can also verify the subdomain europe.contoso.com in a different Azure AD organization. When adding the subdomain, you are prompted to add a TXT record in the DNS hosting provider.

How to Verify Domain for Facebook and GoDaddy

    If the DKIM record fails:

    • Depending on your DNS zone, the Host field will accept either ml._domainkey or ml._domainkey , so try both.

    • Check that both Value fields are exactly the same, as theyre case-sensitive.

If youre unsure they are an exact match, you can check both texts here.

If youve already checked the above and both fields are exactly as they are shown in MailerLite, it may be that your domain system may not parse the DKIM value correctly.

If this is the case, you could use an external tool such as DKIM Core to check for any errors. If you see that only the k=rsa part is being recognized and nothing else, then this means that the DKIM value is not parsing correctly on your DNS.

To rectify this, you should escape the semicolon symbol by adding a backslash symbol before it.

To do this, simply change the initial value from k=rsa p= to k=rsa\ p=.

How Do You Pick The Right Domain Name

Finding the ideal domain name seems to be complicated for so many beginners. Over 350 million domain names have already been registered, and it appears that the good ones have all been taken.

If the domain name you want isnt available, youll have to think outside the box. Here are a few pointers to assist you in selecting the ideal domain name for your website.

    • Stick to.com domain names and dont switch to a new extension.
    • Use keywords that are relevant to your company.
    • In domain names, hyphens and numbers should be avoided. Theyd make it more difficult to spell and pronounce.
    • Choose a domain name that is easy to remember, doesnt require you to spell it out, and accurately represents your business.

How To Verify Authenticate And Align Your Domain

Email verification and authentication are important in the world of email marketing as they help ensure the proper deliverability of your campaigns. Aligning your authenticated domain will even boost your deliverability.

A domain can be verified via a confirmation email or by authenticating it.

Note: Large public mailbox providers like Gmail or Yahoo are not recommended, as there are too many limitations when using their free domains for sending. These can also not be authenticated since you do not own the domain.

    2. Youll see a list of domains with a Verify button next to them click that button.

    3. This will open a TXT record field. Click Copy next to it, then paste the record somewhere for safekeeping. Youll need it for the next step.

    4. Log in to your domain host and add the TXT record to the DNS zone file. The exact steps here will vary depending on your domain host, but essentially youre going to use the TXT record previously copied to create a DNS TXT record at your domain host.

Start The Verification Process For An Existing Domain

For any existing domain you were using before mandatory domain verification, verify those domains as soon as possible. If you dont want or are unable to verify the domain, move the Managed Apple IDs you dont wish to verify to either reserved domains or to others that have already been verified.

Note: A reserved domain is the default domain. It appears under Accounts and matches the organizations domain name of the website you used when you enrolled in Apple Business Manager, plus an incremental number. For example, if the organizations website is www.example.com, a reserved domain name could be example1.appleid.com.

  • In Apple Business Manager , sign in with an account that has the role of Administrator or People Manager.

  • Tap Settings at the bottom of the sidebar, then tap Accounts below Organization Settings.

  • Tap Edit, review the list of domains, then tap Verify next to the domain you want to verify.

You will see a TXT record and receive an email saying that the domain you selected is now attempting to be verified. You have 14 calendar days to complete the verification process. The TXT record contains a string with random characters at the end, for example, apple-domain-verification=RaNdOmLeTtErSaNdNuMbErS.

  • Tap Copy.

If youre using one of the following services, see their documentation for pasting a TXT record into a zone file or contact your DNS administrator:

Verify Existing Domains In Apple Business Manager

When you create Managed Apple IDs using a specific domain, you must first prove to Apple that your organization claims that domain. You must also prove your ownership before federating a domain. If you already have federated authentication configured, verify your domain as soon as possible.

If more than one organization is using the same domain, all organizations can independently verify the domain. However, only one organization is allowed to federate the domain. Other organizations must move and rename their Managed Apple IDs to another verified or reserved domain.

Important: You have only 14 calendar days to complete the process or you must begin the verification process again. Depending on the network configuration and number of locations, MDM servers, and devices, it may take some time for DNS changes to appear. Make sure youve notified the person in your organization who can write records to your DNS entries so the task can be completed before the 14-day expiration.
