How To Create A Custom Domain
To create a custom domain, you must create a new CNAME record that will be used to access your Account. This is done in a DNS zone for the domain that you wish to use.
Set your chosen CNAME record to point to clients.databox.com.
In your Databox Account, navigate to Account > Account Details > White-Label.
Enter your CNAME in the textbox in the Use custom domain for app access and report sharing section
Pro Tip: It can take up to 72 hours for the CNAME to propagate and properly point to the Databox app.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
At this point, you can log in from your custom domain and it will replace “app.databox.com” in your Sharable Databoard Links.
Pro Tip: If you are an Agency User, the custom domain can be automatically applied to new Client Accounts by selecting the Apply all settings to all Clients checkbox on the White-Label page. Learn more here.

After you create your directory, you can add your custom domain name.
Sign in to the Azure portal using a Global administrator account for the directory.
Search for and select Azure Active Directory from any page. Then select Custom domain names> Add custom domain.
In Custom domain name, enter your organization’s new name, in this example, contoso.com. Select Add domain.
Important
You must include .com, .net, or any other top-level extension for this to work properly.
The unverified domain is added. The contoso.com page appears showing your DNS information. Save this information. You need it later to create a TXT record to configure DNS.

Add your CNAME in the following format:

Be sure to include the final period after “clients.databox.com.”
After you have added the entry, increase the zone serial and reload the bind:

Certificates For Custom Domain Names
To provide a certificate for a custom domain name in a Region where ACM is supported, you must request a certificate from ACM. To provide a certificate for a Regional custom domain name in a Region where ACM is not supported, you must import a certificate to API Gateway in that Region.
To import an SSL/TLS certificate, you must provide the PEM-formatted SSL/TLS certificate body, its private key, and the certificate chain for the custom domain name. Each certificate stored in ACM is identified by its ARN. To use an AWS managed certificate for a domain name, you simply reference its ARN.
ACM makes it straightforward to set up and use a custom domain name for an API. You create a certificate for the given domain name , set up the domain name in API Gateway with the ARN of the certificate provided by ACM, and map a base path under the custom domain name to a deployed stage of the API. With certificates issued by ACM, you do not have to worry about exposing any sensitive certificate details, such as the private key.

Create Your Directory In Azure Ad
After you get your domain name, you can create your first Azure AD directory. Sign in to the Azure portal for your directory, using an account with the Owner role for the subscription.
Create your new directory by following the steps in Create a new tenant for your organization.

Change Your Email Address To Use Your Custom Domain Using The Microsoft 365 Admin Center
You must be a global admin to perform these steps.
Go to the Setup> Domains page.
On the Domains page, select Add domain.
Follow the steps to confirm that you own your domain. You’ll be guided to get everything set up correctly with your domain in Microsoft 365.
Go to Users> Active users.
Select a user to edit their username and change it to the domain you just added.
Note
If you are not using an Exchange license, you cannot use the domain to send or receive emails from the Microsoft 365 tenant.
Set Up Email Forwarding
Once the domain has been successfully transferred to Google Domains, we are ready to set up email forwarding.
This will automatically set up MX records for your domain so that email gets forwarded. Note: This assumes you arent already using MX records for some other purpose . If you are, youll want to delete those records.
At this point, you can receive any email sent to your custom domain. Great! However, you probably want to send email from your custom domain as well.
