Four: Log Into Your Domain Provider
Open a new browser tab or window and log into your domain providers website. Once you log in, find where you manage your DNS settings. This could also be labeled as Zone File Settings, DNS Manager, Domain Manager, or something similar, depending on your provider.
Once you are in your DNS settings, this is where you will create these records so that your domain links to your new Squarespace website.
Squarespace Note: Dont delete MX records during this process. MX Records connect your email address. Deleting them could interfere with your email service.
Opt Out Of 60 Day Lock
It is standard practice for a domain to be locked for 60 days after it is registered or transferred. During this period, you will be barred from updating the name or company name associated with the domain, changing the registrant email address, or enabling/disabling privacy settings. However, there is an option to opt out of this. By default, this option will not be checked, so if you are planning to transfer the domain, you will need to log in and manually opt out of this 60-day lock.

Unlock Your Godaddy Domain
The domains are locked for security purposes. If you want to move it from the registrar to another registrar , you will have to unlock it.
You can scroll a little bit and unlock your domain. At the bottom, you will see that the domain lock is On. Just turn it OFF. You have to change the status to Unlock and it will be done.
Alternatively, you can also Go to Additional Settings on the Godaddy domain control page and do the same.
Add Other People To Google Workspace
Once you finish the wizard above, youll see a confirmation that your account was created, as well as a button to Go To Setup. Go ahead and click that button:
If you want to give other people access to your shared Google Workspace account, click Start next to Add people to your Google Workspace account. Then, youll be able to add additional users.
If youre the only person who will use this Google Workspace account, just check the box for I added all user email and click Next:

How To Transfer A Domain From Godaddy To Google
Each step of the transfer process requires action by different individuals and entities:
- Domain owner: On Registration settings, prepare the domain for transfer .
- New Domain owner: Provides the authorization code to the new registrar and pays for another year of registration.
- New registrar: Provides the authorization code to the registry responsible for the domain.
- Registry: Asks Google to confirm that the registrant wants to transfer the domain.
- Google: Approves the domain transfer. Google sends a transfer confirmation email to the registrant for approval.
- New registrar: Informs the registrant that the transfer is complete. The new domain owner may have to re-enter and verify the contact information for the registration or re-verify existing information.

How To Request A Domain Transfer To Chemicloud
Once you have your EPP code and have confirmed the domain is unlocked, and privacy is disabled, follow the steps to initiate the domain transfer.
Well assume that you have already unlocked the domain at its current registrar and that you also have the authorization code from Hostinger.
1) Head over to our Domain Transfer page and enter the domain name you wish to transfer to ChemiCloud and the domain Transfer Code in the appropriate text field .
2) Click the Order Now button.
3) You will be asked if you require hosting as well. Click the Continue button to finalize only the domain transfer without hosting.
Click the Checkout button to send your domain transfer request.
A domain name transfer can take up to six days to complete. Once the domain name transfer is complete, you will receive a confirmation by email.

How To Accept Godaddy Transfer
Once the transfer request has been placed and the process has been initiated at the registry level , you should be able to accept the transfer on GoDaddys side to speed up the process:
- Log in to your Account Manager
- Next to Domains, click Manage
- From the Domains menu, select Transfers
- Click on Pending Transfers Out and select the domain name you are transferring out of GoDaddy
- Select Accept and click OK. The request will be processed within 15 minutes.

How To Transfer A Domain To Google
Start here: and type your domain name into the search bar where it says Enter the domain name you want to transfer. Then click enter and it will bring up information about your domain account. Typically most domains are locked. You must unlock the domain and find a Transfer Authorization Code before you can successfully transfer the domain to a new service.
Step 1
Login to your domain registrar account. Find your Domain Settings and find the UNLOCK option. You also want to request the AUTHORIZATION code, it should be in the same area Sometimes they will pop your authorization code up on the screen, but sometimes it must be emailed to you, it just depends on the service youre using. If you cant find these items, contact your domain company for help or search their help articles and I bet youll find it.
Step 2
Return here: and type your domain name in again. This time, you should have your authorization code ready, and the domain should already be unlocked and ready to transfer. There will be an obvious spot to enter the authorization code do that, then continue. Keep the recommended settings and complete the process by adding your payment card and checking out until you get the confirmation page.

Change Settings With The Current Registrar
Using the method provided by your current registrar, do each of the following for each domain that you want to transfer.
- Renew your domain registration before you transfer the domain

For most TLDs, when you transfer a domain, the registration is automatically extended by one year. However, for some geographic TLDs, registration is not extended when you transfer the domain. If you’re transferring a domain to Route 53 that has one of these TLDs, we recommend that you renew the domain registration before you transfer the domain, especially if the expiration date is approaching.
Important
If you don’t renew the domain before you transfer it, the registration could expire before the transfer is complete. If this happens, the domain becomes unavailable on the internet, and the domain name could become available for others to purchase.
Registration is not automatically extended when you transfer the following domains to another registrar:
