You may not need to add additional users, however. You can add multiple alias email addresses to any user at no additional charge. Set Up A New Email Address In Bluehost

These instructions will work for any web hosting service that uses the cPanel control panel.

1. Log into your Bluehost web hosting account. If you have a WordPress account, dont go into the WordPress administration.

2. Select Advanced in the left-hand menu to get to the cPanel control panel and scroll down to the Email section.

3. Click on Email Accounts. This will open the Email Account Management screen.

4. Click on the blue Create button. This will open the email setup screen. Give the account a name, create a password, and then press the Create button.

5. Back in the Email Account Manager screen, you will see your new email account listed. Click on Connect Devices on that line.

6. In the Set Up Mail Client screen, scroll down to the Mail Client Manual Settings. Record the information is the SSL/TLS box for use in Gmail.

This Is How We Do It Step By Step:

  • Create your Gmail account. Go to .Fill in the details for the form presented. When it comes to the recovery email, dont use the email address that you are planning to use with your Gmail account, otherwise youll never retrieve your password if you need to. Now we are going to set up your account to import any emails that might be sitting around in your webmail inbox and then to have it connect regularly to this account to import mail, and lastly ensure that any emails you send with Gmail come from the from address that you have connected to from Gmail.

Update Your Domain Name Server

Next, Mailgun will prompt you to verify your domain.

You need to update your DNS Records for sending and receiving emails with Mailgun and for tracking activities such as opens, clicks and unsubscribes.

Go to the DNS provider that you use to manage your domain and add the DNS records provided by Mailgun and wait for the domain to verify successfully.

When youre done with this step, this is how your DNS records should look like more or less.

As you can see I added:

  • MX records that specify how the email should be routed with the SMTP server.
  • TXT records that are known as SPF and DKIM thats required for sending and receiving emails with Mailgun.
  • CName record is optional. You could add this if you want to track opens, clicks and unsubscribes.
  • Once you have updated your DNS records, go back to the Domains page and click on your domain.

    Scroll down to the Domain Verification & DNS section and click on it to expand the tab.

    Finally, click on the Check DNS Records Now and you should see green checks on each of the records indicating that your domain is verified.

    Then click on the big Domain Verification & DNS header to expand it, and click the Check DNS Records Now button.

    You should see green checkmarks on the MX and TXT records indicating that setup was successful.

    How To Link Website Domain Name Email To Gmail Account?

    Unfortunately, there is no direct way to do this except by using Google Apps but as I said, I dont think its worth it you move your emails and everything to Googles. Id prefer to have my domain emails stored on my web host though I want to use just Gmail to read my domain name emails.

    The workaround is to just Forward your emails on your domain name through the cPanel settings. This way, you keep a record of your emails on your web host and can read + reply your emails on Gmail!

    If you are worried about the space it takes, just login to your domain names email inbox and clean them up. Im with HostGator with unlimited space so I cant be bothered for now. Its good to have backups anyway in case something happens to my Gmail

    Id heard rumors that you could do this, but I could never figure out how! I hated my hosting email interface, but I wasnt willing to give up the professional domain email address, so I set up Mac Mail to work with my hosting email. Its ok, but Ive often lamented not being able to use the awesome features that work with gmail, like Boomerang. Now I can have the best of both worlds! Thanks!
