Have you ever had anybody laugh at your email address? I know it sounds silly, but sometimes it still happens. It may be your actual username, but more times than not, people will end up laughing at the domain name associated with your email account. It is probably linked to your banks, home, work and personal correspondence. It is so heavily tied to you that the thought of changing it or deleting is downright scary. After all, you have had it for eons as far as the internet is concerned.

There may be reasons behind the switch, but you do not want to miss out on any correspondence.
