1: Login to your Godaddy product dashboard. 2: Under your Web Hosting services, click Manage for the one needing the SSL installed. This will take you to the Hosting billing/setting dashboard.
3: You need to access the hosting cPanel. Click on the blue cPanel Admin button.
4: You need to access the SSL/TLS module within cPanel. This can be done by typing in “SSL” in the Find functions search box at the top.

Use The Crt To Install The External Ssl Certificate In Godaddy
In the seventh step, You are going to use the files from the zip file that you received from Namecheap and you are going to place that in GoDaddys cPanel.
Go back to GoDaddys cPanel and type SSL in the search field.
Choose the first option SSL / TLS.
Scroll down until you see upload a new certificate. And there is a section where you can upload the file with .crt extension.
Just upload the file and give it a description .
and click upload certificate.
Once its uploaded, click on Go back and scroll down until bottom and click on Return to SSL Manager.
Next, under install and manage SSL, click on the Manage SSL sites link.
Scroll down until you see browser certificates and in the dropdown select the domain you want the SSL to apply to, in my case its linktopus.net
It should pre-fill all the other fields, so, all the details for the certificate. Then, just click on install certificate.
You should get a popup that SSL Certificate successfully updated and click on Ok.
If you scroll down you can see you have a new SSL certificate in the list. Its valid for one year from the activation date and it covers these two domains.
Lets see if it worked on the website. And click on the padlock in the URL bar, your site should have now connection is secure text. If you click on the Certificate text, you will be able to see until when this is valid.
So now your website went into a stealth mode!

On the box that says Download Certificate select Apache as the server type, and download the ZIP file.
IMPORTANT! Upon purchasing your SSL certificate, it will give you a private key. Please keep this safe and backed up, as you will need this for uploading the new certificate to your subdomain. This key will not download in the ZIP file.

If you’re feeling a bit confused at this point, that’s OK! all you need to do is follow the steps in this tutorial, and you will have a free SSL certificate installed on GoDaddy. Think of that $70.00 that is remaining in your pocket and press onwards!
Before we continue, we tailored this tutorial for GoDaddy, but this method will work on any host that uses cPannel. Most budget, shared hosting providers offer you a cPanel interface.
To install our SSL certificate, we need to log into GoDaddy’s cPanel .
Do this by loading the main GoDaddy dashboard, navigating to my products, clicking on the web hosting tab, and then clicking on the manage button. Now you should be in the dashboard for that individual hosting account. There is a large black button on the upper right hand corner that says cPanel Admin. Clicking on that will load the interface that you need to install your SSL certificate.
The admin dashboard should look something like this. Utilize the search function, and type in SSL. Click on the SSL/TLS icon.
Once this screen is loaded, navigate back to your WordPress website, where Step Three of SSL Zen should be open .
For each file type, click on the copy button. That will load an interface where you can copy the data contained within the file. Once you’ve copied the data, navigate back to the cPanel, and paste the data in the respective field.
Both the certificate.crt and cabundle.crt will be pasted into the Certificates section on cPanel.
